I bought these tile mats to use under a patio floor mat to keep the carpet from sitting in standing water and mildew. I've had outdoor mats in Florida all year round with the weather - heavy storms and scorching sun. They have held up very well. I bought pretty much every mat/substrate I could find and chose this system because it's thicker and heavier than most and promises UV stabilization. All of these attributes contribute to a higher quality product, which is reflected in the look, feel and weight of the material. The locking system works flawlessly and they connect seamlessly and securely. They don't slip or slide on my patio's shiny floor. This blocking system is definitely a top product and worth its price. I'm buying a second set to use on a different part of my patio.
