I like that you can easily create sub plans with FP, which I use daily for my work as an architect. There are also some extensions (like FPApp) available in order to have even better functionality. In addition, it's easy to share your plan documents through email or via Dropbox. Creating new projects can be quite time consuming since one has to select from thousands of predefined templates. Also, there are sometimes compatibility issues when working between different platforms (excel vs. web). It would help if FP offered multiple formats (such as MS Word), so users could choose whichever they prefer. We're using FP primarily for our planning process within our organization. The benefits include being able to store everything related to any given project in just one place.
