Review on 🔊 Texsens Bluetooth Speaker Light Bulb by Kunjan Alston

UPDATE: It works with Alexa! They emailed me today (for no good reason, I didn't reply or whatever) with updated instructions that WORK! I thought it was very kind that after reading my initial review they emailed me to offer further help with the setup, but I never responded. Wow, these people really care about their customers! Back to five stars from me! Thank you TEXENS! I love this thing! I took off a star because they said it would connect to Alexa, but it doesn't. General. They lie. I messaged them for instructions, knowing full well that if it worked they would just post the info instead of sending them EVERY single message, but oh well. It didn't work (the four photos they sent WITHOUT words were ALL cellphones) and when I texted them to say it didn't work they told me no phone needed and that I should follow the instructions. Well! What! I don't even care that it doesn't work because I still can't yell at Alexa in the shower and ask for a song, so it doesn't really matter. I'm VERY pleased that between the reviews and the questions I read before ordering I thought only one person in the family could use this - wasn't it! As soon as you turn off the power (e.g. the light switch in the bathroom), the next person can easily select the lightbulb in their Bluetooth settings (if the other person is out of range or has Bluetooth turned off)! i love this thing and although it makes a soft ping every time you turn on the outlet, I'm fine with that. I can't even fully appreciate the color of the light because I have it installed in a bunch of other lightbulbs in my dressing table, but it's wonderful! I just make sure my Bluetooth is on (if it's not already on, I usually just leave it on) and tell Siri to turn on Blue October (my favorite playlist) and it happens! It's especially nice when I forget it's on and take my phone to the bathroom while I'm on Facebook and it's playing videos through the speaker! I don't know how long it will last (especially since the vapor shortens its lifespan, voids the warranty and I'm putting it in the bathroom anyway) and I got it on a lightning fast $3 discount offer (because it was). on my wish list for a good time) but I have no regrets at all and am considering getting another one for another bathroom. If it lasts three months, I'll happily pay full price for another one! It takes up ZERO counter space, connects automatically, and is loud enough to be heard in the shower! All you have to do is either tell your iPhone which playlist you want to listen to (or turn on the music on your phone/program) and when you're done, turn off the light! Since I have an iPhone (and an iMusic subscription), I just walk into the bathroom, tell Siri what playlist I want, and let it go until I come out of the bathroom and turn off the light. That's great! My playlist automatically pauses when it gets disconnected, so I don't even have to tell it to stop because, come on, I don't have to SPEAK to have EVERYTHING I want, right? VICTORY!
