Good build quality - strain relief, nylon sleeve, thin. This is perfect for dealing with a motherboard with a broken sound card (seems to be an epidemic lately - or maybe just MSI - terrible brand of motherboards). It's plug and play. I used this on a Linux machine and it just worked. The sound quality is excellent. It's not a high-end audiophile DAC, but I didn't notice any artifacts, clipping, or other decoding issues. I haven't tried probing it with Fourier plots or anything, but the output is nice, clean, and better than I expected at this price point. a standard headset to a USB headset - it supports plugs with a microphone ring.
