The high-quality clips are ideal as coolers on the model railway.
I purchased these clips to use as a heat sink when soldering power wires and rail splices onto on my HO scale model railroad track and they work great. The sleepers are plastic and can melt easily but these clips are small enough to get into small spots and prevent melting the sleepers. I also buy larger 2 -inch clips that can absorb more heat and use a combination of the two sizes depending on the space available.These clips were shipped quickly, they are high quality and I am very happy with them.
