When I first used the shorts (on a long run outside) I used the inner phone pocket which worked great. However, my airpods died about halfway through, so I put them in a "secure" back pocket since it had a zipper. I didn't even know there was a hole in the pocket! I didn't know that at the time, but I quickly realized when I went to get my airfields from there only to find that they had fallen out. This silly little hole cost me a lot of money and could have easily been avoided had the quality been better. The idea of these shorts is great but I would recommend buying from another manufacturer.
