As someone who enjoys experimenting with different mediums finding a versatile art paper is key. Based on my experience, the Canson Mix Media Book XL is a fantastic choice .The paper can handle various materials, including watercolor and acrylic paints, without bleeding or tearing. The texture provides just enough tooth for pastels, charcoal, and graphite, while still allowing for smooth lines. The book is also well-constructed, which is especially appreciated when working on multiple pieces within the same book. The only downside is that the size may not be ideal for larger pieces..
