We live in Southeast Alaska where the water temperature is around 40 degrees in winter and 55 degrees in summer. My son is 8 years old, about 4ft 10 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. He enjoys ocean swimming, skimboarding, surfing, jet skiing, and boogie boarding year-round. This is his third wetsuit in two years and although it's the smallest wetsuit we've bought, it's the easiest to put on and take off. In this wetsuit he lasts about six hours in the water. He wears boots and gloves in the winter months, but not in the summer. I am impressed with this wetsuit for the price.
