The biggest plus is that they are cheap. They don't come with a base or bracket, but it wasn't difficult to make the brackets out of an old 2x4. There are no installation instructions either. The lights aren't bright, but they're bright enough (barely). I wouldn't use them if my taillights were blocked by cargo. But since most of the time I just tow kayaks or a small ATV, people behind me can still see my car's taillights. Yes they were worth the money but if I did it again I would probably get a better set. The lenses were very bad for both. Light enough to put on. I doubt they are waterproof but I don't use them for a boat trailer. They are probably waterproof enough since I installed them under the trailer.
