I bought these to install brighter bulbs in my ceiling fan at home. I'm not sure what idiot thought it was a good idea to limit the room's main light source to two 40w bulbs, but I'm guessing it's the same idiot who came up with the design for the 'safe' gas bottle spouts thought up. In any case, they work very well, with the exception of the Light Kits, which have a bulb cap for the bulbs - with these installed, and even with short LED and fluorescent bulbs, I can't put the bowl's glass cover back on because the bulbs are sticking out too much of. long gone.
