Review on Continental ContiSportContact 5 245/45 R17 95W Summer by Stanislaw Gluszek ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are several shortcomings, in principle, it corresponds to the norm.

Golf R, 225/40 R18 Obviously, I still actively drive on Erk, but I don't participate in any courses, drags, or races. Because it was four-wheel drive, there was no possibility of slippage at any point. At the same time, there was sufficient rubber to last throughout the year. I reluctantly put it in place for the second season, and by the time it was over, I had physically erased it off the cord. I rarely wind more than ten to twelve thousand during the warmer months of the year. Before making the purchase, I read that it can be deleted in a short amount of time, but not to the same extent. If it's rubber, it's probably made in Portugal. Before Kontik, the ordinary oak Bridge RE050a was in place; although having 5 seasons under its belt, it could still handle some riding. At the same time, the Kontik possesses a considerable amount of power. When I went through the repair cutouts on the Hong Kong Ring Road a couple of times, my speed was around 140 kilometers per hour, and although the disks were bent, the rubber did not have any cuts or hernias. It's possible that the sidewall doesn't bite because of how low the profile is. In the second season, the one that was wiped featured a number of punctures. I was driving on a steadily deflating tire, just like on RunFlat. And after all of those terrifying experiences, she emerged unscathed. But I won't be making another purchase. Not willing to shell out cash for a brand-new ensemble every single year. And, dang it, you can't expect silence and comfort from wide, low-profile, and soft rubber that is designed "for sports." She creates noise because she sticks to the asphalt, which is also the reason why she sometimes gets rutting. However, it maintains its position in turns and reacts to steering movements with a delay that is much reduced. If you prioritize comfort above handling, you should go for a rubber that has less of a "quiet" feel to it.

Pros
  • Excellent adhesion to the pavement, and remarkable durability.
Cons
  • Also washes really well.
