This monitor is excellent! I use it for software development and video editing. It has speakers that are probably equivalent to standard laptop speakers, but lack bass and are side-firing as they are behind the monitor and project from behind. I don't buy monitors for their speakers so having them is a plus for me. The monitor stand and tilt are great! One hand can raise or lower about 5-6 inches! You can also lean up/down with good reach. This is a great feature when you want to change your posture or move your eyes a little. The power cord is a "standard PC cable" - no special cords, and it only takes up 1 slot on the power strip. Many thanks to Acer for that! I often buy duplicates, which means I don't have to spend $80 to replace an adapter - just use whatever standard PC/printer cable you have! Comes with 2 HDMI cables so you can connect 2 inputs to one monitor. I can't comment on these features, but it's good that Acer has everything you need! I usually use 2 Samsung 32 inch curved monitors but one got lost when moving house. Rather than buying another one right away, I decided to take a look at these higher-resolution, ultra-wide monitors. All in all, with the extra space on a single monitor versus dual monitors, you're not limited to things like wide spreadsheets, parallel video editing. etc. You can make application windows as big as you like! I hope I never get under 34 again! Think "really big spreadsheets" with an email address next to it, or a video editor looking at assets next to it. Business owner, I usually only have 2 pieces (keyboards, mice, etc.); one set in the office and one set in the living room. I was planning to use my old 32" curved monitor in my living room, but this monitor is so perfect that I bought another one .It is also more convenient to watch TV.With the "rod" as a stand, I can also move it easily, so if I want to have it in front of me or to the side so that there is more space on the table, it is very easy. Once you Once you get that permission you won't be going back. I chose this monitor twice because 49" monitors don't seem to be 1440p, at least not in my price range. This one has, and it has the extra height and same width as those 49 inch monitors which is amazing for the performance! I've been buying Acer computers for over a decade and the same goes for Samsung monitors. Especially with a simple power cord, price, features and quality!
