I bought this cage for my Siberian Hamster and she LOVES it! I used to keep it in one of those cages with a plastic bottom and tubes but this stupid thing was very difficult to put back together after cleaning and I was very disappointed. This cage is amazing! It fits a 10 gallon glass aquarium (not included). This cage gives my hamster plenty of space to explore and play. I added a silent wheel, some houses and a wooden bridge. I didn't use the water bottle that came with it as I already have one. The plate that came with it was broken (probably during shipping) but I just used the one I already had. I recommend that you secure shelves and ladders with zip ties to keep them in place. I've also secured the top opening door with a clip to ensure that it doesn't make an unauthorized "trip" in the middle of the night when I'm asleep and it's at its most active. I highly recommend this cage! I bought an aquarium from Walmart ONLINE as I couldn't find it in their stores. It was only about $15.00
