Confused and accidentally ordered this mini silicone hot pen holder instead of the larger one. :-/ It fits my 10.25" and 12" pans snugly, but still wobbles the handle a bit when trying to grab a loaded pan with just one grip. This works well when using the assisted grip (with the silicone grip provided for that) and using two hands. I got my 10.25" for a hot 5 minute preheat with the handle already attached to light the sous vide steak and I was still able to grab the pan with my bare hands and lift it when I was done. It felt a little warm but still very manageable with no sense of urgency to let it go.These things are really made to slip on just before you pick up the pan and slip off immediately after you do moved them. in the oven) and then burn your hands.
