It's nice to slip on your feet and step out of the van like me in the desert. I had crocodiles but the goat head and mesquite thorns went right through them. The soles on it are much more resistant to spikes. Tried her kayaking. They come off fairly easily when you're in the water but hold up well when wet. Guess I'll have to add Velcro heel straps when kayaking.
