For Christmas 2020 we switched my 84 year old mother's phone from a traditional landline to a mobile phone. At&t charged her over $85 a month for a basic landline and unlimited long distance calling. We bought her a great clamshell phone for the elderly. It was very difficult for her to understand how to use a cell phone. I personally bought this Panasonic phone to see if it could be better for them. I haven't given it to her yet as she lives a few hours away. Here are my thoughts: I love it! I was able to connect it to my Bluetooth enabled Android phone without any problems. I suspect it will work with my mom's Bluetooth flip phone, but I can't say for sure yet. My contacts were automatically synced to Panasonic. The sound quality is excellent. It even alerts you to text messages with a short beep and lets you know who they're from. The phone feels solid and has a sleek look. Didn't try to take calls because they don't work if you don't have a land line. I think my mother will be able to work better with it than with her mobile phone. I may have to order more for myself!
