We bought this tape to hem curtains. Knowing that they would only be taken to the dry cleaner in the future, we decided to give it a try. Now we hem light and heavy linen curtains with this tape and they look great. I trim the excess from one of the lighter curtains and cut a hole in the hem. I was able to use the tape to quickly attach the patch. It was a small hole, but still a hole. Note for those who want to hem curtains, fold the tape in half at the corners and use a damp towel to iron the tape edge. It's so simple and leaves no trace on an almost sheer linen curtain.
