Ideal for Hemming Curtains

We bought this tape to hem curtains. Knowing that they would only be taken to the dry cleaner in the future, we decided to give it a try. Now we hem light and heavy linen curtains with this tape and they look great. I trim the excess from one of the lighter curtains and cut a hole in the hem. I was able to use the tape to quickly attach the patch. It was a small hole, but still a hole. Note for those who want to hem curtains, fold the tape in half at the corners and use a damp towel to iron the

Pros
  • Fabric Tape: 1/2 inch hem tape, 27 yards long, 2 rolls of hem tape, good for hemming, no need to sew pillowcases, double-lined tapes and curtains, long enough for everyday use and need to be replaced
Cons
  • Off fashion

After disappointment I was satisfied with the result.

Item comes with 2 rollers and delivered without instructions. I had to make a large hem on some curtains. I thought I knew what I was doing, but judging by the photos I've included, no. Maybe I wasn't thinking straight when I tried ironing the hem glue the first way I tried. After burning the material (thank goodness it was on the back) I had to come here and check the product description here. Once found out it worked pretty well and got the job done. Remember to dampen the hemming material…

Pros
  • Easy to use: flatten the garment, cut a piece of tape and place it in the seam, dampen the surface of the garment, then leave the iron on for about 10 seconds, shaking the iron back and forth
Cons
  • I'll write later

Hem 18 curtain panels (9 pairs) with 2 rolls of tape

jobs. Lengths were different/shorter than on my previous one Location. So I decided to sew them. I hemmed 8 thermal/blackout curtains with 2 strips (1 at bottom and 1 at top of inseam) for extra support as these were heavy curtains. They turned out great and lasted all winter. I can't say anything about the wear after washing. I've also hemmed 10 other panels throughout the house (clear, plain, etc) and they're all holding up well. For the price, it's worth it as it can also be used for…

  • Normal Use: Fabric hot melt tape is a regular weight and can be used for hemming broken fabric, fabric sewing and any DIY
