I needed an external thermometer that I could read inside but I couldn't use the wireless ones. There is a cable that can read the temperature and humidity and transmit the information to the device inside. This device is perfect for that. I was a little worried about just putting the end of the cable behind the window and just closing the window with the cable in the way of the frame. It closed with no problems, being tin it sticks like it does on the closed window but that doesn't affect reading in any way. It also didn't damage the window frame in any way. It's almost like putting down the newspaper and closing the window, no problem. The ad is really good. The buttons are simple and don't require a college class to use them, which is why some of these devices become so unfriendly and unintuitive. This device is SUPER INTUITIVE! VERY EASY TO READ. I have it sitting inside on the window frame and now the guesswork is completely gone. I always know what the humidity and temperature is like OUTSIDE MY HOUSE, unlike the general weather forecast, which often shows the temperature around several degrees, simply because air can get stuck in pockets in different places, causing large temperature fluctuations. It's great to know what the outside temperature is at a glance without wasting time checking other devices. I like it very much and I have already ordered two more for other parts of the house because the temperature is different on the sunny side and different on the shady side and it is also important when opening the windows to ventilate the house so that I can do not cool and heat the interior without visible reasons. Overall: VERY SATISFIED WITH IT.
