Review on 💧 Enhance Your Water Filtration System with Watts Premier WPRL 58 WP500024 Replacement by Mike Newbill

While the six stage 1, 2 and 3 filters (shown vertically in the sales photo) were fine, the stage 5 in-line charcoal filter (shown horizontally in the sales photo) did not have the important end fittings to insert the pipes. See my photo. With my old filter that needs to be replaced, there is no commonly accepted way to remove the plastic fittings. Maybe a special wrench or tool tip goes in to grab something deep to unscrew? That's what it says in the manual. I don't know, but there is no wrench or tip included with this filter kit or my original reverse osmosis purchase. So there's nothing to grab to unscrew it for reuse. I just can't get the old hardware off. This compression collar on top is actually a freely rotating piece that holds the tube in place as it is inserted. So without the right end pieces, the Stage 5 filter included in this kit is useless. And so "quality and value for money” drops sharply. I will have to buy another set from another seller. Very disappointed.
