This cable always coils properly. I am annoyed that it is 6-8 inches shorter than the Apple Lightning cable when unfolded. I notice this when my iPad is connected to a laptop that's charging on my coffee table. A bit of brevity is enough that getting comfortable on the couch without squatting is annoying because the laptop is too far away from the iPad in my hands, making me squat a bit. One of life's little annoyances. I would not consider purchasing again because of this issue. If a few inches don't matter (she said), then this cable is sure to make you happy.
