Just got around to reviewing these wheels which I bought about two years ago. These are removable hard drives and now they're probably too small for most computers, but they're big enough for what I use them for. I also have a Western Digital 2T MyBook USB drive that contains large files and backups. These Western Digital products work perfectly. I have a two drive RAID configuration, but the only time the drive has "failed" was twice when there was a power outage and once when I had a Windows BSOD. In these cases, the RAID rebuild has rebuilt the "failed" drive. Please note that these failures were not hard drive failures. So the net is that those particular drives are probably too small for your purposes (I don't know if they're even available). But I've had good luck with Western Digital drives in general.
