Review on Excalibur 9-Tray Electric Food Dehydrator: Faster Drying with 26-hour Timer, Automatic Shut Off and Temperature Settings by Ashley Taylor

Great product. We've had several dehydrators over the years, starting with Ronco and most recently with American Harvest. The rest were round, and all had one big mistake. Racks were placed directly above the engine, causing the drops to destroy the heater. I have made jerky several times and appreciate this dehydrator every time I use it. The heater and motor are mounted on the back and cannot be touched. My only regret is that I didn't buy 5 trays instead of 9. Who would have thought that choosing a square design would give you so much space. We had up to 10 trays with our round trays. I haven't poured 4 into this dehydrator yet.
