I think they're good for coloring in, but I bought them for writing and they just aren't quite smooth at the top, the line is too thick for me. The ends are almost worn out or, like a regular marker, not smooth at all. Also, the colors aren't as saturated, which is especially noticeable with black, which looks more like dark charcoal than true black. Most colors are very transparent like excited highlighters. I also bought an artist loft and some of these are transparent but most have the color saturation that anyone wanting a duplicate of Tombow is looking for. VERY difficult to take off.
