Review on 🩴 Cressi Kids Short Sleeve Neoprene Swimsuit (1.5mm) | Boys and Girls Aged 2-10 | Designed in Italy by Jesus Baker

I give 3 stars because we haven't had a chance to test it in the water yet (I will update after our trip) but I was very concerned about this wetsuit, so I wanted to give a review right away hand over. First the smell. So terrible. Like incredibly harsh chemicals. I don't know if this is specific to wetsuits as this is our first purchase but even washing in the washing machine couldn't get rid of the smell. I hope this will pass soon as my daughter is extremely sensitive to smells and wanted to take her off immediately. Also, the description is very misleading as to which parts are real neoprene and which parts are lycra. The description states that the front, back, side and collar are neoprene (Lycra sleeves only), however the neoprene is only partially in the front and back. The entire sides (from the armpits to the sloping hips), as well as the sleeves and collar are made of Lycra. This way the wetsuit doesn't retain water to keep you warm as it is free to flow through the side panels. This wetsuit got pretty good reviews so I'm hoping it passes the cold water test and my daughter doesn't. Don't miss out on all the water activities this week because it's freezing cold.
