Review on 📏 Smart Weigh 50g x 0.001g Digital Milligram Scale Set - High Precision, Includes Tweezers, Calibration Weights, Three Weighing Pans, and Case by Jackie Lopez

I gave the scale 2 stars because the unit and accessories are good. However, when I opened the box, the case was covered in brown granules. (See photo.) Hoping it wasn't anthrax, I wiped the case down and opened it. The interior was clean and looked new. I followed the instructions carefully and used a spirit level to ensure the table I was using was balanced. Before calibrating, I weighed 20 gram weights. One was 20,031 and the other 20,027. After calibration I still couldn't get a constant weight! Each time I removed the weights and placed them in the same spot, I got different readings from the previous ones. It was anywhere from 3mg to 8mg when using either or both loads. I tried recalibrating 3 more times but the results were the same. I bought this scale to weigh the CBD powder for the tinctures I make. For dosing accuracy, I need to know exactly how many milligrams are in the medication. This scale didn't allow that because it was constantly off by a few milligrams. If it keeps turning off, I could adjust the margins, but that doesn't happen! I am very disappointed and cannot recommend this scale. What I received may be defective, but I don't want to go through the hassle of ordering a new one just to get the same result. Damn. :(
