I have to admit I was worried it wouldn't work but it did. It wasn't enough to cool my entire office, but it did cool the space at my desk. I recently brought it home to try at night due to overheating. I put it on my bedside table and again it doesn't cool the whole room but it cools my area perfectly and since using it I've been sleeping better than I've been in months. Unfortunately after using it for about 6 months and continuously for the last 2 1/2 months it made this horrible noise when I turned it on. I find myself playing around with it all the time. I really liked this item but the quality sucks. I'm so disappointed that he's already in trouble.
