This is way cooler than the description!

It arrived early so the birthday boy opened it earlier, at 2-3 weeks. It turned on with the East Coast time loaded, meaning the watch wasn't showing the time. So, the guy I gave it to is a hardware geek. He immediately began to look at the lamps himself, stating that they were made in Russia in the 80s. There are also many ways to set the clock. The processor powering this watch is not from the 80s. By the way, the birthday man made such a set in his childhood, but this one, in his opinion, was much better. Finally, the kit has a motion sensor. However, it took him two minutes to realize that the motion sensor was achieved by carefully monitoring the voltage on Nixie's tubes. If the current fluctuates, then there is movement. So this is an odd property of neon as the light intensity changes. Great that this watch has AtoD and DtoA. It would be easier to install a motion sensor. Instead, the designer opted for steepness. This is an amazing piece of engineering.
