READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! Excuse the screaming caps but if you don't read and follow the instructions you are going to have a bad time with this product. After following the instructions I was completely amazed at how well this product works. First find a stud under your floor (I'm lucky because my most squeaky floors have access and exposed joists underneath), drill a pilot hole and use an adapter. A special screw is screwed flush into the adapter and literally snaps off. All that's left is a tiny 3/8 inch diameter hole that's easy to fill, but the squeaking will go away completely. Genius, I hope the creator of this product owns a private island and lounges around sipping a martini. You may have to use more than one screw depending on how bad the subfloor and joists are, but you can get by with them. Good luck and hopefully the floor doesn't creak anymore.
