I bought this mount for my Edge 1000. I needed something to attach the Edge to the stem to provide more protection in a fall. The regular 1/4 turn mount was too low and the edge hit the stem cap and handlebar. This bracket must be on the steering column above the stem; I had to remove the 5mm spacer under the stem. I bought an adjustable mount hoping I can tilt the display to a better position. In my setup, the adjustment is only a few degrees before the Edge touches the head tube cover. If the mount had a second pivot at the mounting location, I would give it 5 stars. The attachment is very high quality and light. In my case, a cheaper non-rotating mount would have worked. Other installations may require a swivel mount. The Edge 1000 is Garmin's largest device, so other smaller devices have more room for customization. I recommend this product.
