I used to use glue guns for this particular project, but the glue guns I made had joints that stayed together. I am very happy with the dual temperature of this glue gun and I find that the trigger can be pulled easily. work and control the amount of glue I need to use. I used the 100w setting and it was great as I used it as a heating tool to soften the plastic so I could bend my little skeleton's joints and then use a tiny bead of glue to glue them in place to keep in place. I understand that this glue gun is not meant to be used, but it works better than any other options. When I reattached my skeletal arm in a different position, I found that at 100 watts the glue was so hot that it took a while. to cool down, especially when trying to keep the tiny pieces in place. 100w (after it cured) held a strong connection but I wanted to try the 60w setting.
