Impressive glass!

Decided and ordered this wonderful lens; there was a choice between a new laptop and a new lens, luckily this lens won. Wow! The 15-30mm lens has arrived and it's much larger than expected. Photos taken with Pentax K-1 and processed with ON1, Photoshop Elements 14, processed with NIK Define and Sharpen; The exception is a photo from my camera with the lens attached, taken with the camera on my Samsung S8+ phone. Any other lens I've used with the K-1 has been outshined by this beast. Watch out for the clouds, I saw what this glass can do 😎 First impressions after the walk. Wow. I can't believe how much the field of view changes by 15mm. As a running and handheld lens, it's best for lifting weights lol. Significant weight has been added to the camera. The image quality with the K-1 is excellent and significantly better than with the KIT 28-105mm. All images are handheld with an HDR camera. I walked this part on a mostly cloudy day, pushing it through "macro" art shots as well as wide open landscapes; paired with K-1 he never missed; faster and quieter autofocus. The shutter click made more noise than the focus motor. I noticed CA in some of the heavily backlit images, but didn't edit them; This can be fixed in the post, but I wanted to post my first impressions without spending a lot of time in the post. If you shoot full-frame with the K-1, you'll probably be well rewarded for your investment in this lens. . I'm phasing out my 28-105mm kit and the post office bought a limited edition 31mm glass to offset the cost of this lens ;)
