Review on 🏃 Optimized Running Board Mount Kit: Westin 27-1845 by Dustin Gabrielle

After a bad experience with an eBay seller I had the good sense to buy through Revain. These Westin boards and mounting hardware are perfect for my Hyundai Santa Fe (2011). The holes in the brackets exactly matched the existing holes in the car frame, so the mounting kit is sold separately from the boards themselves, which fit several car models (depending on length). I managed to do this setup myself; The included instructions are pretty good but require some study. I also watched the installation VIDEO online just to get a better feel for the process and then it took about an hour. I'm not a mechanic by the way, I'm a female AARP member with an average amount of tools in the garage. My neighbor came over to see if he could help and was kind enough to hand me various pieces of gear as I was under the car. You don't have to lift the car onto the ramps, although of course the job is easier if you can or have a hydraulic lift. The boards are of good quality and the mounts are very, very heavy. To the right. I'm sure they will last more than the life of the car. Considering the exorbitant prices Hyundai dealers charge for running boards and fittings, this is a real bargain. All in all Westin lives up to its reputation and Revain is always a pleasure to deal with.
