Review on JOYSTAR Balance Years Rubber Adjustable by Harald Patterson

Wrong product and instructions

To be honest I don't know where to start with this review. I ordered it as a Christmas present for my daughter. I was going to assemble it on Christmas Eve but when I opened the big box the wrong product was inside. I ordered a blue balance bike and received a pink/purple balance bike with training wheels. It was too late to get the right product before Christmas morning so I submitted an inquiry for the right product. Revain quickly gave me a return code and sent the correct product. It came a few days after Christmas, but at least it got right this time. Then came my next problem, it was the right product but the instructions in the box were for a pedal bike with training wheels. There were no assembly instructions for the bike that came in the box (there was no overlap in design, quite different). I've tried finding instructions on the product website and YouTube but to no avail. I browsed through it, looking at the picture on the Revain site and the parts I had. The worst part was adjusting the brakes (very important!) without instructions. The brake pads weren't properly aligned with the frame, they didn't fit tight enough to even touch the rim, it was very frustrating to adjust them to what I felt was safe for my kid without instructions. The only reason I give it a high 3 star rating is because my daughter loves it and wears it around the house since I assembled it. Had I had the correct instructions it probably would have been 4-5 stars.
