Update: January 2019 Holiday Glow! Always nice!

This is an update of my review from a long time ago. I got wiser and stopped taking those gorgeous jewels off my glasses. Yes, I put most of my glasses in the dishwasher. Simply insert the charm deeper into the cup of the glass, place the glasses in the DW according to the manufacturer's instructions. They run like champions. MY DW is Bosch so you know the magnets are strong. The only time the enchantment was lost was when someone broke the glass and threw the shards before I removed them. Even small snowflakes never lost their shine. A casual guest can get carried away and put the amulet on his ear or even on his nose. It will only add to the celebration. They also make great gifts. I used them for "thank you", birthdays, holidays, hostess, whatever. I always get good grades for it. I saw them in the catalog; went to Revain - natch! I liked them because they eliminate the jingle and jingle of my amulets. Got two sets for Thanksgiving. We served champagne cocktails. Charms are much nicer than in the photo. Lots of glitter! The magnets are very strong, which is both good and bad. They definitely won't detach from the glasses until you take them off. I removed them from the jars we were using and just put some unused jars back in the closet along with the tags. Yes, you have to deal with that deadly magnetic attraction; but they are worth it. Guests chose the glasses based on their birthstone, their favorite color or what they were wearing. The champagne cocktails were so glamorous that guests whipped out their smartphones and snapped photos. I have already ordered more for Christmas gifts. Helpful tip: Don't throw away the packaging. Store the magnets on the cards they appear on. It's a lot easier than struggling with a bunch of magnetized amulets.
