So we bought used bunk beds and mattresses. When we brought them home we found that the mattresses really stank. We didn't want to spend a few hundred euros on new double spring mattresses. We tried some other fragrances like "Zero Odor" but they didn't work. At first I had a fried carpet cleaning and mattress cleaning business. This removed the dirt but reactivated the worse smells. We let them dry and the smell subsided a bit. I then took that bottle and followed the directions to completely saturate the affected area. This resulted in the entire 32-ounce bottle being used per mattress. Half a bottle for each side of the mattress. I left them out in the sun and they dried for 2 days. After drying, the smell is completely gone. I only left one mattress finished on one side so you can compare and tell which side has been treated and which hasn't. I don't know how well it works with pet urine, but for us it works quite well with baby urine.
