I don't remember having any problems. I don't like the joystick controls from behind, but that's about it. I don't see any dead pixels, it even seems to glow to me. The bezel is small and there is no model name on it, making it difficult to identify later. The bezel is small so my webcam can't hook anything and I can see part of it peeking out of the bezel. The clarity looks good, I think it's pretty close to 10 bits, the calibrator agreed anyway. If you are into photography, this screen is worth it.
