I used these to attach the ribbon on the back of my wedding invitations. I taped a set of invitations around, then took a roll of glue dots and exposed the next glue. Dot and then stick the dot directly to one side of the tape. I press the dot into the tape, and then it pops off the wax strip. I then took the other side of the tape and slipped it over the glue dot to seal the loop. Just wanted to mention how I used it because I spent a while trying to get the glue dot off the roll and then attach it. Duct tape, but it's never worked very well for me. The glue dot crumpled up and then I would throw it away and try again.
