I couldn't stick it on our front door. That being said, I know our front door is not in "ideal" conditions. The door is exposed to the elements (no canopy over it to protect it from rain/ice/snow etc.). It is in full sun most of the day. The door is also varnished (old color but varnished). It didn't stick to the strips that came with the kit at all but I had "inside" strips that helped it stay on for 4 days before falling off the door. I thought about it. will work, but it's not for us. What, as they say! The hook is still pretty and I can use it in other ways, just not for our door but at least for the command bar so I can get other types of strips and get them to work indoors.
