Review on πŸ”§ Arduino Compatible LoRa32u4 II Lora Development Board Module with 915MHZ SX1276 HPD13 and Antenna - DIYmall by Jose Strong

Stay away from these devices! Can't get the radio to work even after extensive changes to examples and libraries

If I could give this product 0 stars, I would. I bought 3 boards, when they arrived 2 of 3 antennas were not screwed to the connection cable. I used some u.FL jumpers and patch antennas I had on another project to replace those bad ones and wired everything up. I exactly followed the instructions in the link for Mac and PC with several different machines. The boards are recognized by computers and you can upload a sketch to these boards in the Arduino software, the libraries are installed (but of course even if it's not in the instruction text file, you need to change some library header files). to change some of the default pin assignments - information hidden in a .docx file in one of the library folders - I hope you have Word!), I still couldn't get the devices to do anything over the air to send or receive. Very expensive paperweight. My $6 Arduino NANO boards with nRF24L01+ work better than this one. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • computer components
Cons
  • poorly thought out
