The first unit I received didn't record the hard drive. Unfortunately I had to send the device back for a replacement because the phone support couldn't solve the problem. The new block was much better. The cameras provide a clear picture in daylight. I connected them to monitor 27 which improved the quality a lot. I had to buy a wifi extender for some cameras. Remember that if you go through more than one signal wall, you will need an extension cord. Also beware of China's tech support which is only available at night but they try to be very helpful. Without the limited CS I would have given five stars. Overall, the camera works well for my needs at home.
