It's my first time embroidering and this set was great! It came with extra thread, all you need. It has printed instructions for the stitches but to be honest they are pretty hard to read so I ended up posting the stitches on YouTube and they were very easy to learn. Nowhere does it say you need to split the thread into threads. Each thread provided has to be separated by hand, which I found out online. So before I have to investigate, it would be helpful to know why what I'm doing isn't working. All in all a great and useful product, but it will probably take some time to get online (seriously, maybe seven minutes) if this is your first time.
