I love this desk. It was so easy for me to put together all by myself. Total time was two hours but can be done in a shorter time frame. I took my time and read the picture directions which was very helpful. You will only need TWO tools not just the one Allen wrench they provide. Make sure to have a small screwdriver with you. It is a Phillips head but I used the smallest flathead I had and it worked well. If doing single person assembly be careful when putting the desk top together. The dowels run a little small for the hole, so it kind of waffles a little.Overall, this is an easy assembly for someone who is only 5 foot two. I love the feature of being able to stand at my desk, and not just a sit down.
