Review on Moongiantgo Manual Citrus Juicer Hand Press - Extractor for Pomegranate, Orange, Lime, Lemon - Fruit Squeezer Machine by Monica Russell

strong press; one shortcoming

This is a powerful citrus lever press: I've tried grapefruit, orange and lemon. He did a good strong squeeze. It comes with a jug the size of a plastic cup: you may be wondering why I need this, but it's just the right size to fit between the coaster's legs. It also comes with a small strainer for sifting the pulp. You can make oranges, lemons, limes, pomegranates, small grapefruits. I made a small grapefruit and lemon. worked fine I got a lot of juice, and it was easier on my hands than my Mexican-style manual juicer, which I can hardly live without; I use a lot of lemon and lime in my cooking. (Try substituting lemon for all or part of the vinegar in the vinaigrette salad dressing. It really adds volume.) There are also some detergents (foam sponge). The handle separates from the device and you screw it in. You can unscrew it and put it on the counter for storage. A DEFECT. The base has no suction cups. So if you press hard to squeeze out the juice, the stand will rise. The unit had to have suction cups to attach it to the counter to ensure some stability. Cleaning: The strainer cup exits through the retaining notches and the strainer is detached from the inner cup in the same way (protrusions and notches). Most devices on the market do not have suction cups, but some do and prices vary. In addition to materials: this one is made entirely of steel, there is also cast iron. I've seen prices half as much and double as much. This device is attractive, and if you hold the kickstand when you press it, the lack of mounts isn't a big deal. The stem can be easily removed which is a plus it can sit compactly on the back of the rack. The device is quite high. About 20 inches (51 cm) Summary: works well, average price, attractive.
