Impressive universal adapter with Realtek 8812BU chip - no driver required!

PRODUCT DETAILS: TEROW WiFi USB Adapter 1200M 5dbi High Gain Antenna Dual Band Wireless 802.11ac 5.8G/866M 2.4G/300M USB3.0 WiFi Dongle for Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10, Linx2. 6X Mac OS X (ASIN: B088GS2R5G): Price at time of review: $9.99✅ FEATURES (10 out of 10): Works as well as my internal Intel M.2 Wifi card and proprietary adapter.✅ DESIGN (10 of 10 ): detachable antenna. ✅ FIT, FINISH, QUALITY (10 out of 10): Looks very nice, but this is a generic adapter. ✅ INSTALLATION (10 out of 10): No driver installation required. This is a widely used RealTEK chip. ✅ VALUE: (10 out of 10): About half the cost of popular brands. ✅ OVERALL RATING: 10 out of 10. I'm using WIN 10 Pro and don't need a driver. It was plug and play, period. I have Comcast and my plan is 100Mbps download and 5Mbps upload. I can't say how long this dongle adapter will last, or how long the manufacturer claims it will last. What I can say is that the TEROW 1200M USB WiFi Adapter gave me the same latency and speed as my Intel M.2 9260 Internal WiFi Card and TP Link AC1300 USB Adapter. There were no differences in latency or speed between the three adapters. All three gave me the same latency and speed results. After testing, I left this adapter plugged into my 5GHz router and streamed music from an internet station for a few hours. I had no problems with disconnects or other malfunctions. The connection was strong. I tested the streaming speed several times with the same results. One aspect of this universal adapter is the detachable antenna. If you want to add a remote antenna, you can do that (or a smaller antenna, etc.).⚠️ The instructions say DO NOT CONNECT THESE TO THE EXTERNAL USB DOCKING STATIONS OR FRONT PANEL USB PORTS! Yes, and this is important: you will be sacrificing latency and possibly speed. The manual also says not to use USB 2.0 because the adapter requires more power than the USB 2.0 standard.
