Doesn't work in the field
I ordered the mat so it doesn't slide on the parquet floor. While it's sticky and will stick to the floor, it won't stick to the backing of the rug, which can look like burlap. Therefore, the mat will slip and you will often see this tape sticking to the floor. Not a good view. Being reversible it might work for other purposes as well but not as a rug grab as advertised in my opinion.
