Review on Gabriel G51870 Ultra Absorber Spring by Richard Lamptey

The ride is quite springy and damping is set low on these shocks. They don't absorb shock well, 66% of the impact hits the cabin directly. I understand that every car is unique and has different driving characteristics, so I hesitate to give them 3/5. They earn 2.0-2.5/5. That's not enough for a heavy truck with a cast-iron engine. They were better than my 150,000-mile factory monotube shocks, but the ride was too springy and they couldn't fully absorb road bumps.
