This set is the 4th punch set I've ordered from Co-Link, I also have half round, V-shaped and oblong punch sets. They're oily when you get them, yes, and thanks for not having rusty tools! Sometimes they're a little less shiny than the picture shows, but a Dremel and buffing wheel will fix this in minutes if you need shiny tools to make your work look better. Sometimes they need sharpening, not really, I'd say they arrive ready to use like any expensive product, but even with them, to use them on leather you'll need to at least SHARPEN THE CUT EDGES! You might be surprised not just once, but every time you use them.
