I didn't get these glasses for wine drinking. Rather, I got them to put in our bathrooms for the purpose of rinsing after brushing teeth. I just like to have interesting things like this rather than just a plain glass, and I don't want to waste paper or plastic cups.I filled the glass up almost to the rim, and then poured the liquid into a measuring cup. It indicated 6 ounces, so just be aware of that when ordering. Also, common sense would tell you that, being onyx, these glasses are pretty heavy. So, if you have weak hands, you might have a hard time holding one.I knew that no two glasses would look the same, but I do wish mine had had more green instead of brown. However, that wasn't a deal breaker, and I still like them.I highly recommend them, but do be aware of what these will actually hold, plus the fact that they may be a bit too heavy for some, and that patterns and colors will vary.
