Was a bit skeptical at first but so glad we chose these. Everyone who sees it mistakes it for a real tile and is surprised to learn it isn't. While it wasn't the easiest thing to install, I'm sure it was a lot easier than tile and grout. It can be frustrating to line it up properly without "drifting" up or down in the process, but I'm sure it's a lot easier than other materials. In total it took about 4-6 hours for both sides of the kitchen. Can be cut with a straight blade or even scissors, no special tools required. It is slightly raised, almost like a transparent hardened gel material. I didn't use any additional glue and it lasted for weeks with no sign of peeling. The glue on it is pretty darn strong, if you lose it the first time you might have a chance to take it off and remake it, but expect some paint to come with it. All in all, an inexpensive short-term option that we will eventually replace with real tiles. Again, we may never do this because everything looks pretty good. When I ordered I was concerned that the blue might be too light and tacky, but I really like the light color of the finished product.
